About NyouOS

Overview

NyouOS is a Fluent-style desktop simulation built entirely in the browser with pure HTML, CSS and JavaScript. It does not access your real files, processes or accounts; all data is stored in your own browser.

Upstream & Origin

NyouOS is a fork and continuation of FluentOS-On-Web, originally created by YoYoPAN1115. The original project was released under the MIT License; NyouOS continues development on top of it under the name NyouOS.

Privacy Notice

• This website and the system are pure static pages. There is no comment section, no file upload, and no collection of visitor personal data. No commercial fees are charged.
• All settings, files and layout inside the system are stored in your browser's localStorage / IndexedDB; nothing is uploaded to any server.
• The Daola AI OpenAI / SiliconFlow connection uses your own API key, which is stored only in your browser. Your conversations are sent directly from your browser to the API endpoint you configure and never pass through this site or the developer's server.
• Camera (hand gestures, Camera app) and geolocation (Weather) permissions are only used when you actively open the corresponding app and grant access; they are never used in the background.
• The "change wallpaper" feature requests the Bing daily wallpaper API (bing.biturl.top). Wallpaper images are copyrighted by Bing / the respective photographers and are used for personal desktop display only.
• The wallpaper and weather features send your IP address to third-party services (bing.biturl.top and Open-Meteo); the weather feature also sends the location you authorize. The data practices of these third parties are governed by their own privacy policies.
• This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare automatically sets necessary security cookies (such as __cf_bm) to prevent bot attacks; these cookies do not contain personal identity information.
• This site does not collect personal data and is not directed at children under 13.
• Clicking external links such as GitHub, Gitee or OpenAI will leave this site; the data practices of those destinations are governed by their own privacy policies.

Third-Party Trademarks & Assets

The third-party apps listed in the built-in app store (WeChat, Alipay, Taobao, JD, Douyin, Bilibili, QQ Music, Baidu, NetEase Cloud Music, etc.) display their respective developers and operators (such as Tencent, Alibaba, ByteDance, Shanghai Huandian) in each app detail page. These names, icons and trademarks belong to their respective companies. This project uses them only for system demonstration and entry aggregation, and has no affiliation, authorization or endorsement relationship with these companies.

System icons were collected by the upstream author; the "Time" icon set is used with permission from its author Isongren (a Bilibili content creator). If you believe any content infringes your rights, please email nyouos@163.com and we will remove it promptly.
